when i watch sky sports they put the score along the bottom of the screen but i cant see it, ive tried 16.9 and 4.3 settings and still cant see it??? can anyone help....i got a jvc 28" widescreen.

1) Do you have a 'Full' size setting within the menu? Depends on the model but if so you might have to try that.
2) When you select your picture size, any setting that actually 'zooms' the picture (which sounds like the case here) may allow you to vertically adjust the position. After selecting the picture size, try pressing the Up or Down arrows on your remote to see if it shifts the picture.
3) Although this isn't part of your request, if your picture appears slightly tilted at an angle, it may help you to better read things across the bottom of the screen if you find the option that changes the Picture Tilt, if available, which should be able to compensate for it.
4) If none of these things help or work, you may wish to find the model number of your set, and then Google 'jvc manual' followed by the model number to see if there's anywhere for you to download or purchase the original instructions; I'm assuming you don't have the manual anywhere.
i understand where ur comin from but ive tried all of what youve said...ive used the up and down arrows and tried all settings...panoramic full 14.3 16.9 16.9 zoom....dunno what else i can do...maybe ill email a jvc helpline if i can find one. thanks for replying.
