my understanding a mock is to make a replica of something.

Well then your understanding is wrong.
gmb2014, ASO and Gary McEwan gave kudos

Not being funny here, but sending them into ITV, i'll crack the jokes Laughing. And funny from the member who said' you should send them into itv!!!'. wow, really? you must be joking. powerpoint, and looks like the original Daybreak, it's not a mock at all i beleive, from my understanding a mock is to make a replica of something and the graphics of gmb haven't even been seen yet.

A replica is a recreation. What would be the point in only ever recreating designs? Have you seen the Gallery? Its full of new designs.

The gallery is a place for mocks and recreations. This is a mock not a recreation.

Just because I cant afford expensive software, it doesn't mean I should be looked down on. I understand that you dont like the mock. But you didnt give any constructive criticism. I dont mind that you dont like it either.

Okay, there's no need to be so rude about it.

I simply didn't offer anything, as i beleive it's not bad or good. imo.

How can they look less like the original Daybreak?

How can this mock be improved?

No part of that comment was constructive or helpful in any way, shape or form, and in my opinion, when commenting on a mock, those should be the only things to say.

Yet you have still not addressed your MASSIVE misunderstanding of the term 'mock'.

To be constructive ASO, could you perhaps show or tell up how the logo would animate? I do think the straps are a little too close to Daybreak 2010, but I love that you have incorporated the ITV tiles in.

Okay, so I think that you could probably make some improvements to this already really good mock!

Until today I believed following safe areas would be impossible on anything as basic a powerpoint, but its not! Just get the image from the mock guide, copy it on top of your mock and make sure the important things fit into the safe areas! Hope this helps!!

Henry96 - Thank you for trying to help but if you looked at pages 2 & 3 you will see how I did improve the mock. I was so angry to see you slag off my mock on your thread. That was unacceptable and pathetic.

Please look at pages 2 & 3. I moved up the ticker up. Please can you properly read the thread, you will see how I improved the mock despite what you said on your thread on how I could not be bothered to do so. This mock is still a work in progress. Read all the comments from a few weeks back please and take the time to see every page before criticising it on you forum comparing this to your mock. You will see that I put all essential graphics inside 4:3 such as the clock. I didnt put the dog in there though because it is not essential. If you had read through it you would know that other members made these same comments about a month ago.

I do appreaciate your help, but I already know a lot more than this. Hence why I was explaining such stuff to you on your thread earlier today.

Finally, you said my Weekend mock was horrible. You also slagged that off in your thread too. Can you please explain why you dont like it? I was just testing out an idea to ser what people would think. I appreaciate that you dont like it so I would love to improve it. I agree its not my best by any stetch of the imagination - but seeing as I gave you an absoloute essay on your mock full of constructive criticism, the least you could do is give me something to improve on for that particular element.t

Lorraine Animation:

I have started a mock for Lorraine - I wanted to demonstrate how it would be animated...
For this bit, I just wanted to have a slight refresh of the graphics for a new studio

With regard to the actual animation, it feels far too powerpoint, and over animated -especially the smaller 'Lorraine' on the DOG. I like the small accents of pink in the current graphics, these seem too garish, with the different shades and gradient in the larger circle. Maybe look to be more original, rather than simply adjusting the current graphics.
