I caught this little oddity over the end of '2016 A Year in the Life of a Year' last night - an ECP for an upcoming Chockablock night on BBC FOUR. The unusual positioning was the main thing of note, with a close runner-up being who on earth would have thought that sock and cock would have gone so well together...?

Hehe. I know that Lady Sands would be over the moon if they really were doing that (her fave programme as a child)

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the rest of 'A History of Corners with Victoria Coren'

'Is this real'

1) Go find the listing for yesterday - or even the programme brief on the I-player..
2) Note where it's positioned in the ECP...

This sort of show lives and dies by the material, and in most parts it was 'amusing' with only a couple of laugh out loud moments.
Odd thing though, was there was an almost identical joke in this show that Charlie Brooker did the night before on BBC Two.

Given the writer/producer of this - I'd rather have another BBC Four documentary following rock god Brian Pern and Thotch again, filmed over a few months.. Wink

Have a think for a bit and consider for a bit what exactly a Chockablock night would be like... then ask that question again.

If you're still not sure, look up and watch some of Rhys Thomas' other programmes such as Brian Pern and see what sort of stuff he does
Hatton Cross and London Lite gave kudos
