The www.bbc.co.uk/german doesn't exist so I guess you haven't missed it. It does seem bizarre because I would have thought German would be the most widely spoken language in Europe, with the possible exception of English. Germany also has the one of the highest proportions of people online, as well as Austria and large parts of Switzerland also speaking the language.
