Well, close of play was about 18:05, so I guess Channel Four either re-organised their programmes or dumped the last thirty-five minutes like they are famous for doing.
Bloomin' slow bowling, it made a complete mess of the Paddington to Pewsey train plan!

Was this not the special show broadcast right before the finale on NBC which would mean it wouldn't have any spoilers?

At the time HOW FRIENDS CHANGED THE WORLD was supposed to start, the announcer said "In a change to the schedule, PICTURE PERFECT, followed by Matt le Blanc's favourite episode of FRIENDS".
My theory is that the original programme gave away the plot of the last episode

This is initally what I thought too, but looking on the NBC website (they still have the schedule online), it would seem that these shows are totally unrelated.
Further research from thecustard.tv reveals:
"...this documentary... looks at how the style and substance of Friends has had a global cultural impact. Examples include Rachel’s much-mimicked hair and Ross’s bravery in dancing in the opening credits, proving that geeks have the right to dance too, even if they still look awful. Contributions come from the cast and writers plus Frank Skinner, David Baddiel, Alistair McGowan and Ronni Ancona."
I guess we should be used to the 'Talking Heads' format by now.

Just be grateful rain didn't stop play and you'd gone for the 17:35 ex-Padd. It coasted to a graceful halt near Twyford. I managed to coax it to Reading where it was declared a failure leaving choas behind it! Least I didn't have to go to Taunton and got home early!

Well, considering C4 hadn't advertised it all week I guess it is something to do with giving away the plot - or maybe they've finally exceeded their Friends quota.
Speaking of Friends, on Friday night the cricket overruns and Friends is cancelled, and within half an hour the Chief Exec has resigned and moved to the BBC!
