DJ Kat is one show I could never forget since I took part in one of it's games in December 1995 (Kipper Tripper). Only needed one more fishbone key but ran out of time, and won 3 autographs and a sweatshirt (still in perfect condition I must add). Katrina Hilton Hull presented it in it's early days and Joe in the later ones. It was taken off air around February 1996 and replaced with "Sky 1 undun" which had a terrible song in it's adverts - "Sky One, we call it undun" -- ugh. It didn't even have any characters on it.

Can everyone have the video clip of good bye to DJ Kat on Sky One

I started off with them in transponder order, because that was the only way you could do it, so then left them like that because I could rememeber the numbers.

Quoting yourself and then asking "CAN everyone have" is a very similar style to Paul2001, who's just been banned, if you don't mind me saying so.

14. MTV Europe
I'm pretty sure it was the European version we used to get back in the mid 90's

Indeed it was. MTV was at least 10x better back then, in comparison with the tripe that MTV UK currently puts out!

Too right, bring back Ray Cokes' Most Wanted. One of the best TV shows ever made.

I was privileged enough once to go and see the show in London - great fun.

The European service is still there but as MTV Central Europe, MTV2Pop is also another good one there.

Ray Cokes is a legend. I too was privileged enought to be a member of "Club Bed" . . . 27th September 1995.

I was present at one of the Weekend specials, when Crowded House were on. Great band, Brilliant to have seen them live and up close.

Oh, god. It's Paul2001 again- doesn't the word "banned" mean anything to you?

This feels like a second home to me, I remember most of this despite being only 17 years old!
I can very barely remember Sky Channel Europe with it's "reaching out to you" slogan hehe.
I have fond memories of Lifestyle, shows like Classic Concentration shown during the day and David Hamilton doing the continuity.
DJ Kat is one show I could never forget since I took part in one of it's games in December 1995 (Kipper Tripper). I can remember Super Channel in it's later years with programmes like "On the Air" which I recall was supposed to be like a radio, just a few pictures on the screen with a voiceover and music.
I got a Philips STU3301 receiver for £139 back in 1997 to get Astra 1D because we wanted Sky Movies Gold and I still have it now. Its channels were in transponder order and I know them all, I'd just be years giving out all 64 of them.
But now in the Sky Digital age I hardly watch satellite, just too busy trying to get the Leaving Cert out of the way. Still the memories of analogue satellite will be with me forever.

i also remember TCC The Childrens channel very well too i also useed to watch DJ KAT on Sky One.

Is it just me, or was Sky One Unden not originally Paul2001, but someone else using the same computer as him (possibly a sibling,or maybe a school friend), hence Paul using the username. Certinally there's a big contrast between the proper use of english in the 1st post, and awful spelling and grammar in the other two- there's no way they were written by the same person..
