ITV will probably try and keep this launch as low key as possible, yes there will be a few promos, there can't not be, but I wouldn't expect it to be as big as the 'sketches' seen before daybreak v1 launch. ITV would not want to hype up viewers incase the are disappointed with the programme, they'd rather have them be slightly sceptical in the hope they'll be pleasantly suprised with the programme

As I've said in the past, I do think such a cautious approach could backfire. Unless they can hook lots of new viewers in for the launch, the papers (which are probably already gunning for the show) will just report it as a flop - putting off anyone new from trying it.

Regardless of whether or not they properly market the show, the next morning's papers will be comparing the launch ratings to BBC Breakfast's.

If it's going to be a newsier focus, how do they market it? The presenters doing talking heads about what will be included RI:SE mk1 style? Or just a VoiceOver telling people what to expect. Or even

I'd say if it does happen it will only be in the week before the launch

Here are a few ways it's been done before...

I'm sure they have plenty of footage from rehearsals to draw on.

Something like the CBS This Morning ad would be appropriate!

I don't think we can anticipate any dates, its never the same! I would imagine a Facebook and/or twitter to be established perhaps the weekend before. Which will mean that we will get some hints of a logo and maybe the studio.

I doubt they'll create a new Facebook or Twitter for the show. I think they'd probably be keen to keep the likes and follows that they already have and just rebrand Daybreak's pages.

I see what you mean.
It has similar qualities to some of the news promos. Maybe we could see a type of 'ITV - where good mornings live' promo.
