2013: A Funny Old Year was a very good humorous take on the year, different from the past few years where they've had Phillip schofield and a host of comedians. It worked very well with Jason Manford at the helm, something that could work well as a weekly review to fill the tv burp & that Sunday night show void.
Was it not Jason Manford who did it last year? He certainly did one comedy programme which contained several other comedians coming on. I thought it was the 2012 version of Funny Old Year, could be mixed up though.

You could be right, though last nights was just Jason Manford and was split into sections. It worked very well.
I think 2013: A Funny Old Year was recorded several years ago as it included mentions of BBC News 24, Trevor McDonald as a current news presenter and the 9 O'Clock News as a thing.
They did well to make it seem quite topical otherwise though.

No it wasnt. Considering it had clips of Simon McCoy with the paper mishap otd wasnt
I thoroughly enjoyed Birds of a Feather last night, and it seems to have gone down well on Twitter too. It was also the most watched show on ITV last night with almost 8 million viewers, more than double the slot average.
