Is April 28th like a massive ITV Daytime relaunch day? So far there's Good Morning Britain, Jo Frost's Family Matters and The Paul O'Grady Show?
No just the first day after the school holidays so a few new daytime series start, like they do 3 or 4 times a year. The fact that GMB is launching on the same day is the only thing which is different.

Does anyone know who that welsh announcer is on ITV2?
Notice that ITV are running a new trailer promo 'Next week on ITV' which goes on to feature a programme from ITV, 2, 3 & 4. (Think it was Prey, Viral Tap, Foyles War & IPL Cricket) ends with the strap line 'ITV Welcome to our Family'
That coming up trailer is very nice.
It unites all the channels very well.
I've just noticed a Christmas break bumper used during weekend.
Speaking of which it is a nice mix of chat features. The set is nice, graphics simple and is very relaxed. The only thing that I don't like it Aled in a long sleeved t shirt. The guests look dressed up compared to him.

Even though the breakfast franchise is now owned by itv, is play out still different? I notice weekdays and weekends that that is a flick to black at 9:25 still.

I would guess it is still broadcast as the national franchise from London. Your region, Central comes from Leeds, so there will be a slight flick probably at 9:25
Now ITV regularly air idents within the weekend breakfast slot, it must look quite strange to those not in the know on STV & UTV. I'm surprised we don't get threads on other forums every week when people unusually wake up early and wonder why STV & UTV are not on air anymore.
