Anyone seen any regional trailers lately? Seen some on Granada and they are awful.I assume the editors are making them now??? Why don't they get some of those people back who used to make them , they were good, used to make the progs look better than they are , whereas the current ones make the progs look worse, a big turn off. They must be losing viewers??? Anyone got any figures???

but declining viewers for regional programmes is the aim of the game, then they can replace them with an extra episode of corrie, club reps, and 24 hour quiz.

Noticed that the former GMG regions have axed the use of regional names in regional trails, though TTTV still use "7.30 Thursday on Tyne Tees" - so good to hear them rebelling.

I agree - it's nice to see the regional trailers still exist up to a point on Tyne Tees. But if I'm right in thinking these trails are all made up in Leeds, surely there isn't anyone at 'Tyne Tees' who can rebel?
