I agree, Good Morning Britain working with ITN's resources makes it a better product, and levels up the playing field compared to the BBC and Sky. Doesn't need to rebrand, (they've had lots!) but why shouldn't they work closer with ITN or ITV news?
I do feel like this is the reason why GMB needs to work more with ITN. It's proven to be more of a news programme than previously.
Nice to see a much more integrated Good Morning Britain today, rather than it being the ugly cousin of ITV News as usual. Like BBC Breakfast normally does, GMB had ITV News reporters, referred to as if they're part of the team, unlike when GMTV used to get ITV News people in at election time.

It works much better when in the newsy format and it takes the big breaking stories to make that happen.
Don't know if anyone else on here saw this but inbetween the top story and going to Ranvir with the other news, the three of them seemed to forget they were on the air and had a good little conversation for 2 or 3 minutes.

Once again today the 8am TOTH is from the desk with graphics on the screen behind them. Do you reckon they'll make the 8am intro from the desk permanantley now?

Though I don't consider that camera shot to be particularly notable, it being off-centre at the end doesn't look "wrong".

They also did it on the 5th of January 2015 when they refreshed the set and music. As well as the Brussels terror attack special.
