Glad when I was rushing out the news last night on @itvnews that the PM was back in self-isolation I didn't know *8.9 million people* were about to watch. The pressures of coming off the back of #ImACeleb! @antanddec
Rageh the first back on News at Ten - a reminder that is has actually only been two weeks since the election.
Also must say the current "Filtered for no one" promos are getting quite a bit of airtime and are quite effective - although the font and colours used make me think The Guardian rather than ITV News.

Yeah. That was my thought about the font. I like the way it works with reem though.
So, predictions for ITV News in 2021... do you think they will have a complete refresh on air, music and with the graphics? They’ve had the same ones since 2013 which is a very long time in terms of previous iterations of sets and music. I know they refreshed NaT in 2015 with a new title and tweaked theme but it’s getting a bit tired now.

I’d argue that the look still feels as fresh as it did at launch and is definitely the best that it has been since the VR set was introduced. This iteration of the theme has been very well received too and makes the brand very recognisable.

I agree with you there - it does still look good and has aged reasonably well. I was actually expecting them to refresh it this year when ITV refreshed their idents but I suppose it’s the old saying, why fix it if it’s not broke?
