I think it was time for the music to be updated on the programme and really like the new version and opening titles.

Although the titles appear to be a much less sophisticated version of the original 2009 set, with more basic transitions between each 'item'.

This one has quite a few hints of the previous This Morning theme, IMO - feels a bit more retro to the old themes.

The 2009 titles were made by Lambie-Nairn and I would imagine were expensive hence them looking more sophisticated.

I don't mind the music but it does sound as though it was thrashed out on a 90's synthesizer.

Well you say that..... I wonder if they got this guy to do it

I came past this on YouTube. I think he has mixed the 2009 theme in with the new theme. It works well I think.

I recognised the background of Mr2011DomDom's introduction and conclusion as soon as I saw it - it's from the YouTube banner I designed for Benriggers:

There's not much difference, the 2013 theme is stronger, but the added bass and high pitched jingles of the previous theme help it a lot.

The pods have been replaced with a table and chairs for the hub assistants.

Is apple iPads now product placement? As before all the iPads were given a 'This Morning' sticker over the apple logo but now they haven't given This Morning sticker and that iPad is placed very carefully face down in shot.
