Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway

This question was broadcast today - I didn't see it myself, but I have been told it was edited down significantly.

Another thought on the mystery image - David's on Meridian South (according to his profile; was that what the Sky box was tuned to?) and I'm on Channel. Does Channel still take their feed from Meridian? No-one else has actually reported seeing it on broadcast, and we know it wasn't on HD, so perhaps it was inserted somewhere at Meridian.

I did watch it on Meridian on satellite.

Two people reported it on Twitter, one of whom says they are in Sheffield on their profile. They may have been on a Southern England holiday of course.

Regarding the symbol seen on the end SNT. There was a semi circular pattern possible a 'lense flare' at the end of tonights NAT over the desk???

Nope. That's our last theory blown out of the water then. Will we really never know what it was?

Back to the mystery symbol for a moment - I believe it comes from a trailer running on ITV for The Americans - look 23 secs in:



I think there's a version of the trailer which starts with that image too, so it could be some kind of playout glitch? Seems weird, though.
