Skittish is indeed a good word for it. I've been listening to these play out for a few weeks now on my way to work and every time it sounds like a Chris Evans Thursday.. wherein he plays the call/text/email jingles all at once. The sky news synthy bits and orchestra are totally at odds with each other, they don't even seem in sync on the main signature tune. I hadn't had the chance to hear them in full until you mentioned they were on the Music4 site. The main TOTH has elements that sound superb but they're buried under fake pips boops and plops. I can't say it's an improvement on its predecessor. Sounds like a imaging package with ADHD!

Not sure whether this is the correct place to discuss this but I'm sure someone with a big enough ego on a power trip will tell me otherwise if it's not.
Has anyone listened to the new BBC London Radio audio packages on Music 4's website? Have to say I quite like it and think they have done a pretty great job of it. The beds sound very fresh. Would be great if this was rolled out to all BBC Locals.
