NB Trevor, retired? Have you missed the joyous televisual car crash that is News Knight? Like an enema performed with jagged shades of slate. But brilliant for that. Suchet was underrated I think, a lovely calm authority and soft with it, not like some of Austin's barking perorations.

That's also compounded by Trevor McDonald and John Suchet retiring. In any case, Alastair Stewart should definitely get the 10.30, reducing Mark Austin to just the Evening News. I also think the Lunchtime News should go back to one presenter, with Katie Derham at the helm.
