Well I'm back! And I have to say I really love the new look- the music is excellent. However I can't see the point in that desk! So is the set, the old BBC Three News set including chairs, desk and wall or have they built there own??

I noticed this morning that Points West have added an animated endcap with music to their Breakfast Bulletins. Anyone know when this started?? It wasn't happening last week.

No i think he means Westcountry Live and he aint got a clue what he is talking about cos London Tonight is 10 times worse!!!! and Spotlight is far more interesting than BBC London.

What is it with these random road names? I had the terrible misfortune of setting foot in Exeter last week, and I had to drive down "Black Boy Road", which had shops on it with names like "Black Boy Bargains". Quite extraordinary.

The only good thing about the whole experience was that I didn't have to experience their ghastly local news programme.

At the end of Whiteladies Road in Bristol is ................ Blackboy Hill.

Actually I do know what I'm talking about thank you, and I wasn't referring to either Westcountry Live or London Tonight which are both utter shït.

Spotlight more interesting than BBC LONDON? What exciting stories will surprise and delight us on Spotlight today? A lifeboat deployed to rescue a drowning squirrel? Cabbage wins Best Vegetable Award at town fête? There are plenty of great regional news programmes - from both ITV and BBC - across the country, but I've never seen an edition of Spotlight which hasn't been spectacularly tedious. Perhaps it's just coincidence that on each of the 30 or so occasions I've seen it, I've just been unlucky enough to see one of their 'bad' shows. That must be it.

Today's evening programme began with the weirdest shot I've ever seen - Chris Vacher several miles away at the screen fiddling with his script

Chris was several miles away as he weren't on last night - it was David Garmston Wink Razz

Well I'm pretty sure it was Chris Vacher. By evening programme I mean the 6.30 if you're thinking of something else maybe.

Low quality but it definately looks like David Garmston to me...

That was David's first time on the new set. I love that shot at the start- why is Susan smiling like that? Also did anyone see the end of that one-Susan saying David is going to eat both of those pies! And "which one do you fancy?" Very Happy

Who says humour is dead at Points West!
