I've noticed a spreading disease in TV Forum land, that of contributers missing out random words from sentences. Is it as a result of brains running wildly ahead of typing speeds ? Or don't people bother to read back their contributions any more ?
Have the presenting team been "trendied-up" with the introduction of the new set? I only ask as every time I have caught it since the new set was introduced Chris seemes to be wearing the same trendy pink and purple tie (and possibly the same shirt to go with it).

I've fed up of filling in the blanks.
So sorry Square Eyes I missed out the word - know!
well, a few weeks in...a had a bit of a bash so i thought i'd look in
Last week the lunchtime news was quite well directed.. gone is the dire red wipe into the titles, the framing was better (and looser), the programme flowed
Today? Dreadfull.
Dire shots, very poorly framed....the cutting was late, the still with the competition participation phone number was very late, 2way with weather host was wasted with no 2 shot to establish...leaving the handover looking like a offscreen private conversation....yet a odd overhead shot appeared before the signing. But the end was a (late, as always) cut from presenter shot...why not use the overhead shot then??
I do hope the evening shows never this bad.
New Journo training at the beeb? Think the production 'multi-skills' staff need some as well..
