Good Morning Britain - 2015 Refresh/Tweaks

I suspect you'll see a lot more of Kate than that. She'll be the main cover for Piers, Susanna and Ben, as well as doing one day a week herself anyway. She'll still be a key part of the line up, certainly more so than Sean or Charlotte.

I think most of us have long since come to the realisation that ITV will never be rid of Kate.

She played the long game and it paid off. When she was demoted to entertainment correspondent on Daybreak V1 she could have left, but she has probably presented more breakfast shows than anyone else since.

Considering Kate now also presents on Smooth Radio, she's more in demand than during the GMTV era.

No full 8am TOTH this morning, due to the weather finishing at 8:02 after the entertainment overran. The 'find out more at itv.com/gmb' card crashed straight into the titles, with no date.

The date was at least read out. As far as I could tell it was the titles minus the menu. It worked especially for the last half an hour rather than using a minute or so when they could crack on with the headlines.

Ticker seems to be after 8am, which they stopped showing back in January.

Susanna is on again tomorrow with Ben. That's right - don't adjust your set - the actual two main presenters, hosting together... TWICE in only a five-day period.

No normal TOTH at 6am, just straight into Ben (who was not quite ready due to the lack of the usual few seconds of the ITV opener before the hosts are in shot) and Susanna reading the autocue to camera with no pictures, straight into the date, and then with a brief "all sorts of things can go wrong on a Friday" line, then on as usual.
