I swear everyone's always going on about a refresh in this thread. Its barely old!

It's not a new thing. Refresh talk always happened with Daybreak & GMTV before that!

The show will probably make misguided cosmetic changes, but it'll do no good - the ratings won't rise. The content needs changing, not the desk.

I hope so! It's bad enough how Piers Morgan has managed to rebrand himself as some kind of lovable, innocent panto villan. I'd hate to see him being dubbed the saviour of breakfast television. Rolling Eyes Hopefully he'll bomb here like he did on CNN.

Exactly and it's only a couple of months since they did some very minor tweaks. I can't see anything changing significantly now until September when they'll probably switch to full panic GMTV mode.

I think April, when we reach the 2 year mark is when the bosses will start panicking.

Well Good Morning Britain has lasted longer than Daybreak v2, that was 599 days (incl. weekends & bank holidays) (3rd Sept. 2012 - 25th April 2014) GMB, (28th April 2014 - present) (incl. weekends & bank holidays) 612 days. So I suppose it's one accomplishment

That was v2 though. I guess it was a kind of "this needs to work quickly, or the program is gone" sort of thing.

The presenter's contracts reportedly run out in April (nearly in May), so I guess that's when ITV will make their minds up.
