Not the smoothest of transitions to Lorraine - surely they should have stayed with GMB.

Or at least not played full Lorraine titles

I don't know why they've gone to Lorraine, even Susanna and Piers were expecting to stay on air

Yes they should have just stayed with GMB, or perhaps even got Lorraine in the GMB studio to continue coverage with Susannah.

Definitely shouldn't have played the full titles - very jarring.

They've gone to Lorraine? Ridiculous editorial decision (assuming it was one. This is clearly a story that's still unfolding.

They are back now, they cut to Lorraine for a live interview regarding the Rotherham scandal.

I reckon they will stay on air until 10am and then This Morning will take over.

GMB surely must have lost viewers for the two occasions they decided to break away from the story for some filler.

Nice to see sense prevailed and GMB got extended but they should have stayed with the coverage as many would have turned to Sky or BBC after that.

EDIT: It seems ITV News Special will be coming on air at 9.25.
