Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway 2016

The show seems quite messy in terms of positioning the cameras, they have gotten in the way of guests coming on a few times. Only 200 or so people get to watch the show from the deck, the rest are watching in theatres around the ship.
Edit: Into the break there was a tech issue, essentially when chatting to Little A+D, they cut to the guest announcer area which was empty, 15 secs or so later, the picture returned with A+D trying to ask Jimmy what was coming up before being told to just go to the break. STV had a black screen for 10 secs, I assume due to the show coming off early

Whoops don't know what happened there! Shot of Jimmy Nesbitt's microphone for quite a long time then Ant & Dec have to crash out of the break as Jimmy is no where to be seen!

Bit of a cock up, the camera mistakenly cut to an empty announcer booth, before Ant and Dec tried to throw to James, who wasn't there...

That's kind of funny since the joke so far tonight has been Jimmy loading himself up on booze...

It's obviously not going to be as well shot as coming live from an actual TV studio is it. Doesn't mean they shouldn't do it.

I mean in terms of them blocking paths to the stage not visibility which is enevitable

The real reason the FFOF couldn't be on board is due to there is no roof where the show is being broadcast from, so they couldn't use it.

There is some sort of lighting grid it could hang from but it is massive that's why they used Mulhern in a finger suit, I mean he did Fingertips all those years ago

Could have used the kind of rig they use for a birds eye view camera at sporting events

For gods sake folks just cheer up and enjoy it. It has been a very enjoyable show.

Or they could just not bother with all that fuss, it's hardly central to the show.
