Lovely to hear thousands of pounds worth of fireworks obscured by the generic black and white credits. They really need to review that policy.

They did last week, weird they didn't for this show!

I thought the best part was James Nesbitt's vanishing act. I don't mind James Nesbitt but that was unintentionally hilarious. Very Happy

Don't know why ITV couldn't have done different end credits for tonights show so we could see the fireworks. As Whataday also said.
They have done simple credits on top of scenes a few times before on SNT so why not tonight which was crying out for it.

They really need to stop the boring and bland black and white credits. I could understand it during the 2006 look when the credits were pushed to one side and the other side was also black, but no longer looks like that so why keep it? Allow shows to have a little creativity like other channels allow.

Apart from the credits, it was a good show, just one error I believe, rest seemed to flow smoothly.

Bit of a cock up, the camera mistakenly cut to an empty announcer booth, before Ant and Dec tried to throw to James, who wasn't there...

Not the camera, the vision mixer. The cameraman doesn't cut to the cameras, that's the vision mixer's job.

The best part about Who Shot Cowell was Olly tonight saying he'd shot him before Caroline corrects him Very Happy He'll never live that mistake on X Factor down.

A great show tonight and nice that they remade the opening titles with Spanish singing.

I edited the Wiki page with that opening titles stuff. Thank you!

EDIT: Some removed

Olly saying he shot Simon was esque to the Monica Michael incident from 2015's X Factor series! Surprised

I wonder what the show would have turned out like had it been raining. Ant and Dec holding umbrellas and the audience getting drenched would have ruined the atmosphere some what.

I don't think it would have made the slightest bit of difference to be honest, except that the rain may have caused problems with the electrical equipment.

There is only one word for this show: Stale. Fun clearly gone out of it. I wonder what the ratings will be like.

It reminds me a little bit of when Noel's House Party went to New York. An attempt to keep the format on its toes by changing its setting.
