Was Good Morning Britain not on then ?

Error with the EPG. GMB started at 7am, as is normal on a Bank Holiday.

First axed from News at Ten and now having to return to GMB - he must really have pissed someone off at ITV.

I tought he was quite good last time as he is in general. I would actually watch NaT if he was presenting. If he joins GMB permanently that could only be good for the credibility of the show.

Does nothing for his career though.

It's difficult to progress your career in TV upwards after hosting News At Ten though. It's not like he's got anything left to prove - perhaps he just fancies doing something different.

A shame that they haven't given Sean more of a chance. I really enjoyed him & Charlotte presenting this morning.

That should have been the duo they were quietly developing from the start, especially if they're in it for the long haul. A huge reason why Breakfast has worked is that apart from the odd exception they've always been able to promote from within.

When Sir Trev got the News at Ten sole presenting job in 1992, Alastair Stewart left ITN to launch LNN. I'm not sure a move to ITV London News is as glamorous these days though!
