I dare say First episode of this morning will be around in broadcast quality, but as been said its just easier to use clips that are around.

I suspect not.... as I say it seems to have been shown in that way for years.

Quote:
Why has that clip with the woman in the house never been mentioned? or is that to high class?

Either because no-one on the team remembered it or they did and it just wasn't as good as the other highlights.
EDIT - it's just been shown

They asked for viewers to tell them about your favourite moments so why not drop them an e-mail?

It's a shame about the DOG. Is it really necessary?

They were actually one of the first programmes to use a DOG. The guidelines are, and always have been, to use one on any items that aren't in the studio, so that any viewers switching on know what they're watching. Bit dated now considering EPGs but I guess being in a different studio could apply to these guidelines.

The DOG has been used in the past for items in the studio (normally interviews), and I was under the impression that it was generally used for things like 'exclusives', to give the programme some recognition for when clips were used in news reports, etc.

Has Keith Lemon fallen in yet?

Bit disappointing for me from a production point of view, people will say I'm being too anal but for a mainstream broadcaster, the lighting, sound and VT issues are really bad...

There's been quite a few technical problems, but it's quite an ambitious outside broadcast. Presumably they have fewer or more makeshift tape machines/server playback ports hence the problems in playing back things at short notice or in quick succession

Aye, that's what I put it down to, I guess there trying something on a much bigger scale with the same size team.

Also, is it just me or does Eamon look a bit of a loose, un-happy screw? Him and Ruth have been pretty shafted to the side of this one which considering they are 1/5 of the current show, maybe they should have actually got to do some presenting today...

Keith Lemon is acting like a right prat behind the presenters right now. Rolling Eyes

I know that most of you will have a go at me for saying this but it's nice to have a show presented from outside of London for a change. I think this morning should move back here. London isn't the only place in the UK....

Looks like John Leslie has been well and truly airbrushed from This Morning History.
