Can't quite see any connection between News at Ten having a new look and anything to do with GMB.

Only seems to be something for the people who are endlessly demanding a relaunch of GMB are latching onto.

Maybe trying to make the whole of ITV News more uniform? I don't think they'll refresh on such a random date but you never know.

Maybe we will see changes when ITV has the rumoured refresh that was talked about when Tom Bradby started presenting News At Ten which returns to News At When this week.

And if this is taking place on Monday January 18th; maybe we will see some changed on Good Morning Britain too.

I think you're mistaken - the only thing that I've seen or heard in reference to a 'refresh' is the one that's happening the week after next - some tweaks to News at Ten. That's all.

Great. Shatliff's got EVERYONE imagining a refresh out of thin air now.

I asked a question that's all.

Err, no, you didn't. You basically took a fact, speculated on it, and did it in such a way that people thought you knew something, when in fact you had just MADE IT UP!

You have no source for your speculation, other than the voices inside your own head.

Journalistically, it's not a lot different to what The Sun and the Daily Mail and their ilk do in a regular basis. However I do believe that TV Forum is better than a tabloid newspaper, and shouldn't be using the techniques of tabloid hackery that they use.

I also don't treat bullying on a public forum fairly either.

I did not say I had heard this was happening I just asked a question. There have been numerous people asking similar questions recently and only the other day I said would a change happen on the same day.

I have not mislead anybody and I would like an apology.

Ben - you didn't ask a question, you made a statement. Cityprod - I don't believe it was written in a way that implied some sort of insider knowledge, so didn't need the rant.

I really wish people would stop speculating on some mythical relaunch of GMB. This thread is hard to read at the best of times, let alone littered with these types of arguments.

Was anybody on here successful in obtaining a free FitBit tracker that GMB were giving away free on Friday? Kate and Ben mentioned there were 250 to be given away. All you had to do was send an email to a special email address with your name, address and phone number.

Before the final commercial break of the 6 o'clock hour today, there was the usual jollity and banter with Richard Arnold about his entertainment news coming up after the break.

However, when they came back from that break, the standard genteel piano version of the in/out-of-break music was used (they usually seem to use a "thumping dance beat" version leading into Richard's entertainment/showbiz segments). Richard, Piers and Susanna on the sofa had solemn faces during the wide shot, and then the news was broken about David Bowie's death.

Needless to say that Richard's planned general showbiz round-up never materialised.

Bowie dominated the programme from then onwards, with all other news of the day relegated to the odd brief round-up with Charlotte. Richard Arnold joined the other presenters at the main desk for much of the remainder the programme.

They lost me as a viewer prior to that because of the belly aching tension with Sean and Piers - so obvious that everyones getting a bit p"ssed off with Piers - and I was one of the ones who thought he would be the saviour of ITV Breakfast. Last straw, and seconds after I switched over, that was when everything began to change for todays media. Otherwise I'd of been watching GMBs coverage rather than Sky.

Only the second time I've seen this but at 7.34 the shot before going to the break was the camera slowly moving behind one of the studio doors revealing the ITV and GMB logos on the glass. Works quite nicely.

That is quite a new idea which i agree worked well, as well as this the original 2014 coming up bed was used rather than the 2015 bed. And they have also started using that upbeat piano and strings bed again. Also the into break transitions look much better since they've reinstated the studio swipe with the cameras.

This is the more upbeat bed, shame it doesn't have a sting to accompany the bed.
