Hopefully that was just a vanity shot for them to take a pic of themselves and the space rather than an actual camera shot that will be used on air Zipper

Although would 2 presenters not be best sitting rather than standing?

If they are planning on using this shot at TOTH, the banners clash and it looks very amateur. I hope they sort out these problems before it goes to air... which is apparently "before the end of october".

Looks like they'll be doing press preview from there too.

All surprisingly beige - I was expecting the atrium backdrop to be full of things like the LED ticker on the outside of the studio. In those shots, it looks a bit like an OB from someone's office.

But I'll reserve judgement until I see it on air.

I'm sure it'll look better once on-air, but rather bland so far, if BH lite.

Hopefully some sort of lighting will make the backdrop look a little more interesting, especially over the 'vents' between the floors. But as others have said, it will most likely look different when seen on air.

The backdrop looks good but agree with others that it needs some accent lighting added. Is the floor complete as it looks odd just having a strip of laminated wood. And let's hope when it gets on air they have cabless keyboards and mouses as it doesn't look right. Can one of the insiders comfirm whether the studio has been completed, or are there more set pieces yet to be added?

Guys... it was Day 1 of a FOUR-WEEK rehearsal, with a photo taken off a monitor. Chill!

ETA: And if the sainted Media Boy (of another parish, but among the most-respected professionals in this particular field) is kudos-ing my post, I might just have a point.

.....or maybe Media Boy is kudos-ing from his "Shed". (Take note of the capital S).
