The axe? I jest of course, I think at the moment the programme has found its feet again so hopefully it's not a radical change.

Wouldn't be surprised if radical changes were made, they can't leave anything alone for more than 5 minutes. Would be a shame if too much was changed, as had been said, program has finally found its feet. Current set has only been in place for just over 2 years, whilst rival breakfast has had their set for over 4 years.

Would be nice to see more integration with ITV News as the last few months have shown it can be when it wants to be, a serious contender to Breakfast whether or not the viewing figures back it up.

I have a feeling that any more association with ITV News would probably decrease viewers.

Good Morning Britain is known to be a lighter alternative to BBC Breakfast, but for the newsy parts of GMB, they could integrate with ITV News to share reporters and resources but keep the lighter side of GMB there towards the end of the show to please current viewers.
The amount of viewers could decrease with ITV News integration, but there isn't any breakfast show lighter than GMB. GMB will always be lighter than BBC Breakfast so people who watch GMB now will likely continue watching.
