Eugh. A tedious pedant. You know what he meant, so unless you've got an actual point to make, go and scrub some more studio floors.

They could either take the Look East approach and say at the end "We'll see you next weekend for a slightly different Look East, goodnight"

Or they could take the Midlands Today approach and devote a whole programme to the earth shattering news of a massive relaunch for the new millennium of regional news.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing it was just before they changed their look.

Well - they signed off tonight by saying that next week the decorators would be in and they'd be in a "Temporary Home" for a few days. Then a nice wide shot to the opt-back point. Pretty big hint there then !

Shame I really like the current set - just the right mix a desk and a sofa area. Any expectations of things to come? I bet there will be NO desk, which a real shame!

Is it me or did i just see a preview of the new set cus after the headlines with Huw at the start it opted to Sally Challoner but it wasnt a background or anything, it looked like it was within a newsroom! Did anyone else notice??

Oh no, does that mean we'll have to put up with a load of web and teletext editors swanning around in the background?

Did I notice somebody I know in the background of a Spotlight interview the other day? The interviewee was in a newsroom not far from Whiteladies Road, if I'm not mistaken!
